Oh, the memories!

As we stepped out of the car at the Lassen National Park Visitor’s Center, I took a deep breath.  This scent..of redwoods and wild flowers…is one you can find nowhere else in the world.  Just the scent alone brought many childhood memories flooding back which I once thought were quietly tucked away.  Got to spend a couple of hours (far too little time, but the best we could do this trip..) with one of my two awesome sisters and her husband (thanks for dinner!!).  And now we’re tucked into bed in our Yreka Motel 6.  This time with WiFi in the room!!  I’ll post more tomorrow…including photos!
