Cleanliness is next to…cleanliness

I like to clean most of the time.  However, I do find myself with little energy or time to do it. So I’m looking for time saving hints for cleaning naturally.  I’m already using baking soda and white vinegar for a lot of things.  Anything else you have found useful?  Essential oils, etc.?  Would love to hear from you.

  1. I know you already mentioned white vinegar, but there are a gazillion things it’s great at cleaning! Just recently I discovered that if I put a cup in the toilet bowl and leave it for a couple of hours, all I have to do is a quick swish with the toilet bowl brush and that bowl just about sparkles! I put it in a spray bottle to spritz on faucet fixtures and mirrors.
I hated the smell of commercial cleaners but thought they were a necessary evil til we got here. ALL those products cost 2-3 times what they do in the States,so I had to find cheaper methods. About 3 years when in the States I picked up a book at Barnes andNoble on the clearance table titled “Green Cleaning” by Margaret Briggs and Vivian Head. It changed my world! HA! Love that there is only a clean fresh smell after using vinegar!
